Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all.

Time really flew by this holiday season. It seems like we just came home from Madison at Thanksgiving and we were back on the road for Christmas. But it was great to see everyone.

We lucked out on our return trip Christmas night because later on the highways became ice covered. The court was so icy the snow plow slid down to the bottom and got stuck in our snow pile. It took another truck to come in and clear a path and dump about a months supply of salt to get him out of there.

Everyone have a safe and fun New Years Eve.

To Tim and his family who are off to Jamaica, "Bon Voyage, Mon".

Winter is Coming to the Court

We are getting our first taste of the winter snows. If we can continue to get one or two inches at a time it won't be too bad. You might know, last week when we got out first few inches, the snowblower would not start. However the shovel is still working. I just tried the blower today and it started right off. Maybe it just doesn't run on days when there is snowfall. It looks like a good day for sledding or skiing. Terry should have a great weekend at Cascade. He said he got in a few hours of snowboarding last week. All part of the job he says.
Stay warm.

Turkey Day

Thanksgiving 2008

Well, it was a great day at the Madison Harron's. A fine meal was enjoyed by all and the hospitality of Tom and Jenny was outstanding. Nice weather led to a lot of outdoor activity.

We did find time to take a family picture. The first time in three years where we had everyone together.
